Indie 101: Hello independent artist! This is a 101 about you and your relationship with DJs. Ask yourself. How many drops have I done for DJs this month? Or, how many face to face conversations have I had with DJs this month? If the answer is none to either one of these, then your heading in the wrong direction.
Point being, DJs are important to you being heard. So no matter how hot or good you believe your song is, without the DJs it does not exist. Think outside the box. What will you do differently today, then yesterday? Start with the DJs.
